OVEN DRYING METHOD
WATER CONTENT OF SOIL

- उद्देश्य (Purpose) :-
OVEN DRYING METHOD के द्वारा मृदा का जलांश (Water Content ) ज्ञात करना|
- सिद्धांत (Principle) :-
मृदा मैं उपस्थित जल सहित मृदा का भार तथा मृदा को एक निश्चित ताप पर गर्म करने क बाद जल रहित मृदा के भार के अनुपात को मृदा जलांश ( water content ) कहते हैं’|
मृदा\quad का\quad जलांश(w)\quad =[\frac { मृदा\quad में\quad उपस्थित\quad जल\quad का\quad भार(Ww) }{ शुष्क\quad मृदा\quad का\quad भार(Ws)\quad } ]\times 100
- उपकरण (Apparatus) :-
- जंगरोधी,वायुरोधी पात्र ( non-corrodible ,air tight container )
- 0.04% सुग्राही (sensitive) तुला
- oven जिसका तापमान 110±5°C तक हो सके
- DESICATOR
मृदा नमूना (Soil Sample) :-
मृदा के नमूने की मात्रा इतनी होनी चाहिए की वह उस मृदा का ठीक ठीक प्रतिनिधित्व कर सके जिससे वह ली गयी है |नमूने की मात्रा मृदा मे उपस्थित जल की मात्रा पर निर्भर करती है नमूना जितना शुष्क होगा जलांश ज्ञात करने क लिये मृदा की उतनी अधिक मात्र ली जायेगी |इससे जलांश ज्ञात करने मैं % ERROR कम आयेगी |

| 6 | I.S. 40 mm चालनी | 1000gm |
NOTE:- जलांश ज्ञात करने मैं प्रयुक्त मृदा नमूने को किसी और परिक्षण मैं प्रयोग नहीं किया जा सकता|
विधि (Method):-
- पात्र को साफ कर सुखा कर तौल लो (W1 g)
- नमूने की आवश्यक मात्रा रख कर पुन: तौल लो (W2 g)
- पात्र का ढक्कन खोलकर भट्टी में रख दो तथा भट्टी का ताप (110°± 5°) C पर नियंत्रित कर दो।(ताप का यह मान मृदा की किस्म पर निर्भर करता है ।)
- नमूने से जल सूख जाने पर उसे भट्टी से बाहर निकालकर उसका ढक्कन बन्द कर डेसीकेटर में ठण्डा होने के लिये रख दो ताकि नमूना पुनः वातावरण से नमी न सोख ले।
यह पता करने के लिये कि नमूने से सारा जल निकल गया या नहीं, उसे भट्टी से निकाल कर तौल लेते हैं तथा पुनः भट्टी में रख देते हैं।
कुछ समय बाद पुनः भट्टी से निकाल कर तौलते हैं। यदि दोनों भारों में अन्तर नहीं आता तो यह माना जा सकता है कि मृदा से जल निकल गया।
सामान्यतः मृदा का जलांश ज्ञात करने के लिये सुखाने के लिये उसे निश्चित ताप पर 24 घण्टे के लिये रखा जाता है।

| 6 | जलांश(w)\quad =\frac { w2-w3 }{ w3-w1 } \times 100 | 11.11% |

- सावधानियाँ Precautions:-
- शुष्क मृदा का भार , भार स्थिर होने पर ही लेना चाहिए
- सभी भार सबधानी से लेने चाहिए
- oven मैं पात्र को 24 घंटे तक ही रखना चाहिए
- oven से निकलने क बाद मृदा को DESICTOR के द्वारा ही ठंडा करना चाहिए
