Road Aggregates Test
सड़क गिट्टी के लिये परीक्षण
सड़क (ROAD)व महामार्गों (HIGHWAYS)के निर्माण में उपयोग की जाने वाली पत्थर की गिट्टी (aggregates) के लिये निम्नलिखित परीक्षण सुझाये जा रहे हैं|
निर्दोषता परीक्षण (Soundness Test) ⇐ CLICK ON TEST
जल अवशोषण परीक्षण (Water Absorption Test ) ⇐ CLICK ON TEST
संदलन सामर्थ्य परीक्षण (Crushing Strength) ⇐ CLICK ON TEST
अपघर्षण परीक्षण (Abrasion Test ) ⇐ CLICK ON TEST
संघट्ट या चीमड़पन परीक्षण (Impact or Toughness Test) ⇐ CLICK ON TEST
Aggregates Soundness Test
सड़क की गिट्टी के लिए निर्दोषता परिक्षण
I.S.[2386 Part(5)]
- उद्देश्य (object) :-
Soundness Test वायुमण्डलीय प्रभावों जैसे वायु, धूप, वर्षा,ताप,ठण्ड इत्यादि के प्रति पत्थर की अप्रभावी या निर्दोषता ज्ञात करने के लिये यह परीक्षण किया जाता है।
- विधि (Method):-
- साफ़, सुखी तथा ज्ञात भार की गिट्ट्टी लेकर इसे सोडियम सल्फेट(Na2SO4)के घोल में 16 से 18 घण्टे तक. डुबोकर रखा जाता है।
- इस अवधि के पश्चात् प्रतिदर्श को बाहर निकाल कर 105°C से 110°C पर सुखा लिया जाता है और तौल लिया जाता है।
- अब इस गिट्टी की रचना व कणों का दृशीय अध्ययन किया जाता है
- और संरचना में आये परिवर्तन जैसे फटान,टूटन, बिखराव,दरार इत्यादि को नोट कर लिया जाता है और इसे चालनी से छान लिया जाता है।
उपरोक्त पूर्ण क्रिया कई बार दोहरायी जाती है और हर बार गिट्टी की संरचना की ध्यानपूर्वक जांच की जाती है।
- सामिग्री (Materials):-
- सोडियम सल्फेट(Na2SO4) का घोल
- गिट्टी नमूना
- OVEN(भट्टी)
- उपकरण(Apparatus):-
- भट्टी (oven)
- तुला
- परिणाम (Result):-
- उपरोक्त जांच के दस चक्रों पर प्रतिदर्श के भार में 12% से अधिक कमी नहीं होनी चाहिये।
Water Absorption Test
जल अवशोषण परीक्षण
- उद्देश्य (object) :-
इस परीक्षण के द्वारा पत्थर पिण्ड में रन्धों (Pore-Space) का अनुमान लगाया जाता है। यदि पत्थर पानी अधिक सोखता है तो इसमें रन्ध्रों की अधिकता है।
- विधि (Method):-
इस परीक्षण के लिये 2kg सूखी गिट्टी लेकर उसे तारों से बनी टोकरी (Wire Basket) में भर कर 24 घण्टे तक पानी में डूबायें रखा जाता है और पानी में इसका भार भी ज्ञात किया जाता है। अब इस गिट्टी को पानी से बाहर निकालकर और सुखाकर तोला जाता है। इसके बाद गिट्टी को 24 घण्टे तक 100°C-110°C पर भट्टी में सुखाया जाता है और सूखने पर पुनः तौल लिया जाता है।

- गिट्टी नमूना
- उपकरण(Apparatus):-
- तार टोकरी (Wire Basket)
- भट्टी (oven)
- तुला
- परिणाम (Result):-
- सामान्यता गिट्टी का जल अवशोषण मान 0.6% या इससे कम होना चाहिए|
- जो गिट्टी 0.6 % (अधिकतम 1 %) से अधिक पानी सोखती है,सड़क कार्य के लिये ठीक नहीं समझी जाती है |
- सावधानियाँ (Precautions):-
- गिट्टी से मिट्टी आदि को हटाने के बाद ही प्रयोग करना चाहिए|
- भार को सावधानीपूर्वक तोलना चाहिए |
- पान साफ़ होना चाहिए
- पानी मैं किसीभी प्रकार की अशुद्धि नहीं होनी चाहिए
