Retarding Admixture मंदबुद्धि मिश्रण:-
Retarding Admixture अपने प्रारंभिक चरण में cement hydration की दर को कम करता है और concrete के प्रारंभिक सख्त समय को बढ़ाता है।
उन्हें retarders भी कहा जाता है और विशेष रूप से उच्च तापमान वाले क्षेत्रों में उपयोग किया जाता है, जहां concrete जल्दी से कठोर हो जाता है।
कुछ स्थितियों में quick configuration संरचना में विच्छेदन का कारण बन सकता है, सतहों के बीच संबंध की कमी concrete में अनावश्यक शून्य पैदा करती है, आदि। इस प्रकार की समस्या को खत्म करने के लिए Retarders होते हैं।

Accelerating Admixture त्वरित मिश्रण:-
Concrete के प्रारंभिक hardening समय को कम करने के लिए Accelerating Admixtures करने का उपयोग किया जाता है।
Concrete hardening के प्रारंभिक चरण की प्रक्रिया को गति देते हैं, इसलिए उन्हें accelerators भी कहा जाता है।
ये accelerators शुरुआती चरण में Concrete की ताकत में भी सुधार करते हैं, जिससे hydration की दर बढ़ती है।
concrete का पिछला hardening होना कई स्थितियों में उपयोगी है, जैसे कि जल्दी formwork हटाने, shorter curing period, आपातकालीन मरम्मत, कम तापमान वाले क्षेत्रों में इमारतों के लिए, आदि।
कुछ accelerator मिश्रण triethanolamine, calcium formate, active silica, calcium chloride, finely divided silica gel आदि हैं। Calcium chloride एक सस्ती और आमतौर पर इस्तेमाल किया जाने वाला accelerator मिश्रण है।
Air Entraining Admixtures वायु प्रवेश मिश्रण:-
Air entrainment Admixture concrete तकनीक में सबसे महत्वपूर्ण आविष्कारों में से एक है। इसका मुख्य कार्य ठंड और thawing स्थितियों के तहत concrete के स्थायित्व को बढ़ाना है।
जब concrete मिश्रण में जोड़ा जाता है, तो ये मिश्रण मिश्रण में लाखों non-coalescent हवा बुलबुले बनाएंगे और concrete के गुणों में सुधार करेंगे।
concrete में हवा के प्रवेश से concrete की कार्यशीलता में भी सुधार होगा, अलगाव और रक्तस्राव को रोका जा सकेगा, concrete की unit और elastic modulus का वजन कम होगा, concrete के रासायनिक प्रतिरोध में सुधार होगा और concrete में cement या रेत या पानी की सामग्री को कम किया जा सकेगा आदि।
सबसे अधिक उपयोग किए जाने वाले air entrainment Admixture is vinsol resin, darex, Teepol, Cheecol, आदि हैं।
ये Admixtures वास्तव में प्राकृतिक लकड़ी के रेजिन, alkaline salts, पशु और वनस्पति fats, और तेल आदि से बने होते हैं।

Pozzolanic Admixture पॉज़ोलानिक मिश्रण:-
Pozzolanic mixtures का उपयोग एक घने concrete मिश्रण तैयार करने के लिए किया जाता है जो water retention structures, such as dams, reservoirs आदि के लिए सबसे उपयुक्त है। ये hydration और thermal shrinkage की गर्मी को भी कम करते हैं।
एक आदर्श मात्रा में सबसे अच्छी pozzolanic सामग्री बेहतर परिणाम प्रदान करती है और कई जोखिमों से बचें या कम करती हैं, जैसे alkaline aggregates, leaching, attack of sulfates आदि की प्रतिक्रिया।
Admixture के रूप में उपयोग की जाने वाली pozzolanic सामग्री प्राकृतिक या कृत्रिम हैं।
स्वाभाविक रूप से होने वाली pozzolanic सामग्री मिट्टी, shale, volcanic tufts, pumice आदि और artificial pozzolans available are fly ash, silica fume, blast furnace slag, rice husk ash आदि हैं।
Moisture–proof Admixture नमी-सबूत मिश्रण:-
Moisture-proof या waterproofing Admixture का उपयोग concrete संरचना को पानी से अभेद्य बनाने और concrete सतहों पर नमी को रोकने के लिए किया जाता है।
waterproof संपत्ति के अलावा, वे concrete hardening के प्रारंभिक चरण में accelerators के रूप में भी कार्य करते हैं।
Moisture-proof Admixture लिक्विड, पाउडर, पेस्ट आदि में उपलब्ध है।
इस Admixture के मुख्य घटक aluminum sulfate, aluminum chloride, zinc sulfate, calcium chloride, sodium silicate आदि हैं, जो रासायनिक रूप से सक्रिय pore fillers हैं।
Gas Formation Admixture गैस निर्माण मिश्रण:-
Aluminum powder, activated carbon, hydrogen peroxide आमतौर पर रासायनिक गैस बनाने वाले Admixtures का उपयोग किया जाता है।
जब गैस बनाने वाले Admixtures को जोड़ा जाता है, तो यह cement को hydrating करके प्राप्त hydroxide के साथ प्रतिक्रिया करता है और concrete में hydrogen gas के छोटे बुलबुले बनाता है।
concrete में बुलबुला formation की सीमा कई कारकों पर निर्भर करती है, जैसे मिश्रण की मात्रा, cement की रासायनिक संरचना, तापमान, The fineness आदि।
बुलबुले का formed settlement और रक्तस्राव की समस्याओं से लड़ने के लिए concrete की मदद करता है।
हल्के concrete को तैयार करने के लिए गैस बनाने वाले मिश्रण का भी उपयोग किया जाता है। formation और रक्तस्राव के प्रतिरोध के प्रयोजनों के लिए, गैस बनाने वाले मिश्रण की एक छोटी राशि का उपयोग किया जाता है, जो आम तौर पर cement के वजन से 0.5 से 2% होता है।

Air detraining mixtures वायुरोधी मिश्रण:-

आमतौर पर alkaline aggregates की प्रतिक्रिया के जोखिम को कम करने के लिए उपयोग किया जाने वाला मिश्रण aluminum powder और lithium salts हैं।
Anti-wash Admixture एंटी-वॉश मिश्रण:-
Anti-wash Admixture का उपयोग concrete में किया जाता है, खासकर पानी के नीचे concrete संरचना के लिए।

Grouting Admixture ग्राउटिंग मिश्रण:-
Grout आवश्यकता के अनुसार grout गुणों में सुधार करने के लिए grout सामग्रियों में grout अतिरिक्त जोड़े जाते हैं।
कभी-कभी त्वरित grouting की आवश्यकता होती है, और कभी-कभी
यहां गहरी दरारों या दरारों में फैलने के लिए धीमी गति से grouting की आवश्यकता है।
इसलिए, स्थिति के आधार पर अलग-अलग मिश्रण का उपयोग grout Admixture के रूप में किया जाता है।
calcium chloride, triethanolamine आदि जैसे Accelerators का उपयोग grout Admixture के रूप में किया जाता है जब grout को जल्दी से समायोजित किया जाना चाहिए।

प्रबलित concrete संरचना में steel का जंग सामान्य और गंभीर होता है जब संरचना saline water, industrial fumes, chlorides आदि के संपर्क में आती है। जंग प्रक्रिया को रोकने या देरी करने के लिए, मिश्रण का उपयोग किया जाता है।प्रबलित concrete में उपयोग किए जाने वाले जंग निवारण परिवर्धन में sodium benzoate, sodium nitrate, sodium nitrite, आदि हैं।
Bonding Admixture संबंध मिश्रण:-
पुरानी और ताजा concrete सतहों के बीच एक बंधन बनाने के लिए Bonding Admixture
का उपयोग किया जाता है।
सामान्य तौर पर, यदि एक कठोर concrete सतह पर ताजा concrete डाला जाता है, तो पुरानी सतह के साथ कमजोर connections के कारण ताजा concrete सतह पर chance of failure रहता है ।
