- उद्देश्य(Object):-
SIEVE ANALYSIS चालनी विशलेषण की सहायता से मृदा के नमूने का कण परिमाण वितरण (GRAIN SIZE DISTRIBUTION ) ज्ञात करके GRAIN SIZE CURVE खीचना |
- सामग्री(Material):-
- Soil Sample
- उपकरण(Apparatus):-
- sieve set ( चालनी सेट ) ⇒ 2 mm, 1 mm, 600 μ, 425 μ, 212 μ, 150 μ, 75 μ.
- 0.1 % सुग्राहिता वाली तुला
- रबर व हथोडा
- नियंत्रित ताप वाली भट्टी
- सिद्धांत (Theory):-
SIEVE ANALYSIS के द्वारा मृदा के नमूने का कण परिमाण वितरण वक्र उसे बिभिन्न प्रमाणिक चालनियों पर छानकर तथा प्रत्येक चालनी पर बचे अवशेष को तोलकर बनाया जाता हे |
- विधि(Method):-
- मृदा नमूने में उपस्थित मृदा कण की अधिकतम माप के अनुसार मृदा को भट्टी में सुखा (Oven dry) कर आवश्यक मात्रा में नमूना लो।
- विभिन्न चालनियो, ढक्कन व नीचे के बर्तन को ब्रुश (Brnush) से अच्छी प्रकार साफ करके 0.1 gm शुद्धता तक तौलकर उनके भार ज्ञात कर लो।
- चालनियों को सबसे स्थूल, सबसे ऊपर तथा घटते क्रम में लगाकर नमूने को सबसे ऊपर की चालनी में रखकर ढक्कन बन्द कर चालनी हिलाने वाले यन्त्र (Mechanical sieve shaker) में लगाकर लगभग 10 मिनट तक हिलाओ।
- प्रत्येक चालनी के नीचे के बर्तन को मृदा के सहित 0.1 gm शुद्धता तक तौल लो।
- मृदा का विभिन्न चालनियों पर रुके भारों का योग तथा नीचे के बर्तन में आयी मृदा का भार प्रयोग के प्रारम्भ में ली मृदा के भार के नमूने के बराबर आना चाहिये।
- प्रेक्षण (Observation):-

- सावधानियाँ (Precautions):-
- नमूने को सुखाते समय भट्टी का ताप 110± 5ºc से अधिक नहीं होना चाहिए |
- ताप का यह मान मृदा कि किस्म पर निर्भर करेगा
- नमूने को छानते समय मृदा कण चालनियों के बाहर नहीं गिरे |
